Brian is the Co-Founder of Legacy Financial Planning an office of MetLife.
Brian began his career in the financial service industry in 2000. His focus in the practice
is Investment and Estate Planning working primarily with seniors seeking guidance on
how to help make their retirement dollars last their lifetime and pass it on to their heirs in
the most efficient manner possible.
 
One of the many things Brian brings to LFP is an extensive background in customer service, having spent 11 years with Wegmans Food Markets managing and training their customer service associates. Brian is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology’s E. Philip Saunders College of Business. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with focused studies in Finance and Marketing.
 
Since entering the financial services industry, Brian’s commitment to expanding his financial knowledge has led him to participate in many advanced courses in Estate, Tax, Business, Investment and Retirement Planning.
 
Brian continues to share his wealth of knowledge and expertise as a spokesperson
in the financial community. He provides Rochester with the “Legacy Financial Minute”
on Sports Radio 950 ESPN each day recapping the markets events and he is a weekly on air contributor on 1180 WHAM radio’s “Ask the Experts” program. Brian also has been
a featured guest many times on the Rochester CBS morning news WROC-TV channel
8. Brian was immediately recognized as an industry leader, being invited to MetLife’s
Leader’s Conference every year and having been awarded the President’s award the last
five years running. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Rochester Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (RAIFA), Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) reaching Court of the Table in 2004. For the past three years, Brian has been nominated to Rochester’s “Top 40 under 40”.
 
Brian resides in Ionia with his wife Colleen, son Keegan, and two daughters Ainsley and Marin. Brian enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, fishing, and is an avid cyclist. In 2008 he completed his first “century” (100 mile bike ride) in the Tour de Cure to help raise money for the American Diabetes Association. He is also the cofounder of the Scramble for Autism, which raises money for UNYFEAT (Upstate New York Families for Effective Autism Treatment).
